Our lunch café on Wemenstraat 37 in Hengelo is known for its warm atmosphere and the use of fresh, organic ingredients sourced locally whenever possible. And our coffee? It’s 100% organic, fairtrade, and roasted by Moto Coffee Roasters – a favourite among true coffee lovers.

Lunch Café Menu

Our dishes are freshly prepared using ingredients sourced as much as possible from local suppliers. Our bread comes from bakery Oonk in Enschede, buffalo mozzarella from Buffalo Farm Twente in Denekamp, and our cheeses from farmer Nijland in Deurningen and traditional farmhouse cheese from Zuna. Regional products of the finest quality — artisanal, sustainable, and animal-friendly. Gluten-free? No problem – we have options for you too.

The face of Røllesmølle and our creative engine. With years of experience in the world of delicacies, she effortlessly turns every lunch into something special – always with an eye for detail and taste.

Julia
The quiet powerhouse of Røllesmølle. She keeps the team on track, takes care of everything behind the scenes, and makes sure no one is ever without a drink.

Pien L.
Curious, friendly, and a true customer favourite. She brings calmness and enthusiasm all at once.

Noa
Started in the dishwashing area at 14, now an essential part of the team. Hardworking and impossible to imagine Røllesmølle without her.

With her Twente roots and down-to-earth vibe, she’s a Friday regular in the kitchen – a golden duo together with Lihilde. And when it comes to baking? Ilja rules. Cakes, pies, pastries… if she makes it, you’ll want seconds.

Senna
A familiar face who has returned to the nest. Senna previously worked at Røllesmølle and immediately feels at home here again. With her spontaneous energy, hospitality and eye for detail, she ensures that every guest feels welcome.

Nienke
Nienke is also back after a break. She knows Røllesmølle inside out and is back on the floor with just as much enthusiasm as before. Reliable, committed and always up for a friendly chat.

Angela
